Dave Harder

Owner and Principal Consultant

Owner and Principal Consultant of Parish Properties, Dave has over 20 years of pastoral and executive leadership experience in the religious nonprofit arena. He is an innovative leader and brings extensive development, fundraising, administrative, strategic planning, and supervisory knowledge. Dave’s work with clients comprises the creation and implementation of a business and property plan through listening, innovation, strategic planning and development possibilities. In addition, Dave encourages nonprofits, congregations and religious leaders to reimagine new and innovative ways to sustain their ministries.

Dave Harder is a speaker and content creator. He convenes ministry leaders, teaches, and consults with organizations seeking the human flourishing in particular neighborhoods, disrupting the dominant cultural narrative and leveraging assets for sustainable mission, neighbourhood engagement and long term sustainability.

As social entrepreneur he is the co-founder of the Good City People; where he can be found in local conversations, place-based initiatives, business incubators and learning platforms, helping everyday citizens to leverage their time, their ideas, and their creativity for the well being of their neighbourhoods. He loves his city, Ottawa, and can be found curating conversations at local coffee shops, scheming new social initiatives that seek human flourishing or engaging the deeper stories of his neighbours.
